Governmental Electronic Signature Authentication Service (KEAESZ)

Service name
Governmental Electronic Signature Authentication Service
Service description

The governmental electronic signature authentication service (hereinafter: KEAESZ) provides a comfortable solution to citizens and authorities for the secure processing of their official matters in public administration. The service verifies the validity of electronic signatures on documents received by the offices from the citizens or from any specialized system.

The Service Provider provides a governmental electronic signature authentication service for the authorities. In the control, the Service Provider verifies the authenticity of the electronic signature. The Service Provider notifies the authority if the applied electronic signature does not meet the requirements.

It is the responsibility of the Service Provider to perform a technical control of the authenticity of the signed electronic documents (CRL, OCSP, based on a check against the Trusted list) and if necessary, to supplement them by a timestamp and validity information.

The user is able to upload the documents to be controlled on the website of the service. After the completion of the authentication, the user is notified on the results of the check on the website, which they can export in PDF format to their own device (PC, tablet). The Service Provider will not retain the file authenticated by it. The service is available every time when electronic documents with electronic signature are handled.
