Aim(s) of the project 

The fundamental task of OEP is the management of the Health Insurance Fund. The primary aim of the project is to provide the state-of-the-art, standard information background for the funding of healthcare services, necessary for more efficient working, by the internal survey of the processes of support provided to the prices of healthcare services and by the replacement of the obsolete specialized systems.

Result(s) of the project 
  • Development of a uniform, electronic contract conclusion process, and establishment of a uniform central contractual database.
  • Establishment of financing and price subsidy reporting-settlement systems capable of integrated system operation and of following the changing requirements, preparing these systems for handling the e-Recipe functionality.
  • Preparation of the design and provision of support for the development of such a system supporting medical professional controls that follows through the process of professional controls from preparations all the way to completion, and provides technical support to professional work.
  • Renewal of the data warehouse of OEP, enabling easy, service-type access to the data, design of a state-of-the-art executive information system.
  • By the establishment of a state-of-the-art information architecture, significant increase of operational safety, establishment of a disaster-resilient secondary data center;
  • Establishment of the bases of standard, state-of-the-art personal identification within the branch, by connecting to the records of association defined in the key project of Central Office of Administrative and Electronic Public Services (KEK KH) “full scope of client authorization” EKOP-2.3.8.
